What to Expect

Your appointment begins with a detailed consultation to discuss your desired look, any problem areas, and how much time you spend styling at home. We'll assess your hair's natural texture and movement to recommend a style that works for you.

The service includes:

• Shampoo and conditioning at the basin to cleanse and assess natural fall
• Precision cutting using layering, texturising and shaping techniques to create your new style
• Wet and dry cutting for accuracy—establishing shape on wet hair, then refining on dry
• Full professional blow-dry with round brush and styling tools for smoothness, volume or movement
• Final adjustments to perfect balance, check layers and ensure the cut sits beautifully

Allow 60-90 minutes for medium-length hair, or up to two hours if your hair is thick or very long.

Restyle vs. Trim: Understanding the Difference

A trim removes 1-2cm to tidy ends and remove splits, maintaining your current shape. A restyle involves more significant change—altering length, adding layers, reshaping the outline, or introducing texture. Choose a restyle when you want to correct an old cut, remove damaged length, make hair easier to manage, or achieve a clearly noticeable transformation. Our senior stylists, including Marie, Jade and Katie, specialise in creating bespoke cuts that enhance your natural hair movement.

Maintaining Your New Style

Your restyle will look and feel healthier immediately, with improved shape, movement and polished ends. To keep it looking salon-fresh:

• Book maintenance appointments every 6-8 weeks (4-6 weeks for shorter or structured cuts)
• Use salon-recommended products suited to your hair type and any colour treatments
• Apply heat protectant before blow-drying or using styling tools at home
• Protect your blow-dry finish by avoiding moisture and sleeping on a silk or satin pillowcase
