Senior Stylist & Colour Specialist

Full time, 5 days a week (40 hours)

We are looking for an experienced stylist who is equally confident behind the chair with a pair of scissors as they are mixing a colour. This is a senior position for someone who has been on the salon floor long enough to work independently across cutting, colouring and styling to a high professional standard.

About the role

You will manage your own column, look after a growing book of regulars, and deliver the full menu of services to the standard our clients have come to expect. You will work alongside an established team in a busy, friendly salon with a strong reputation for honest advice and beautifully finished hair.

What you will be doing

Confident cutting across men's, women's and restyling. Advanced colour work including balayage, highlights and colour correction. Blow drying and styling across different hair types. Recommending styles suited to face shape and lifestyle. Running consultations that understand what the client actually wants and managing expectations honestly. Building repeat clientele through the quality of the work and the experience around it.

What we are looking for

NVQ Level 2 or 3, or an equivalent qualification. Two to five plus years of salon floor experience. A portfolio or Instagram that shows your work. Strong consultation skills. Good time management so the day runs to schedule. A friendly, professional attitude and a willingness to support the rest of the team. An eye for current trends and the techniques behind them.
